Godiva Chocolatier is a large chocolate producer originating in Belgium. The founder, Joseph Draps, named the company after Lady Godiva, the generous wife of tax hungry ruler Lord Leofric. Today the company has more than 450 worldwide boutiques. Godiva strives to maintain a high end image to suit how it sees its chocolate. Godiva boutiques sell more than just chocolate bars expanding their business to chocolate covered and chocolate based desserts.
